Accra–Tema Motorway Extension (PPP)

About this project

A Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project reconstructing the Accra–Tema Motorway into a 4-lane expressway with a 6-lane urban highway, including interchanges at Old Lashibi (Ashaiman under-bridge), Community 18, and Teshie Link, plus remodelling of the Tetteh Quarshie Interchange. The contractor mobilised to site in 2024; physical works stood at 7% as of the 2025 Budget Statement (status as of December 2024).
